報告題目：Neural Substrates of the Acquisition and Performance of DRL Behavior: Lesion Effects of PFC Subareas
報告摘要：
Prefrontal cortex (PFC) is known to be critically involved in the execution of high-level cognitive functions including behavioral inhibition and timing process. These two behavioral processes are thought to be required for the operant response on differential reinforcement of low-rate response (DRL) schedules, and yet the role of PFC in DRL schedule-controlled behavior remains poorly understood. With the hypothesis of functional heterogeneity of PFC, the present study investigated the lesion effects of orbital frontal cortex (OFC), medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) and functional disconnection of OFC and mPFC on a DRL behavioral task in the rat. Moreover, in consideration of different processes can be involved in the acquisition and expression stages of behavior, the lesions will be conducted in pre- and post-learning stages, respectively. Instead of performance, the data indicate that both the OFC and mPFC may contribute to the acquisition and extinction of DRL behavior in rats, but in different profiles. The OFC lesion yielded behavioral changes in DRL task with interval upward shifting and the recovery test, whereas the mPFC lesion affected responding in the extinction phase. In contrast, neither acquisition nor performance was affected by functional disconnection of OFC and mPFC.

報告題目：臺灣退化性脊椎疾病之術前心理篩檢模式
報告摘要：
退化性脊椎疾病為常見之疾病，在有明確病灶之狀態下，手術常為有效改善症狀之介入方式。唯過往研究顯示，即便病灶已透過手術的矯正後，仍有相當比例之患者具持續性的症狀抱怨，甚至經歷數次手術仍效果有限，進而發展成為脊椎手術後疼痛症候群。有鑑於此，過去研究者試圖建立術前心理篩檢模式，著重於生理-心理-社會各因素間的相互影響，進而預測對手術可能反應不佳的族群；此模式雖於國外被證實具有預測之有效度，但術後疼痛及其他症狀，常與文化社會因素具有高度相關性，故在臺灣社群中之可應用性無法得知。本研究計畫欲採用序列性探索式混和研究設計，先以質性研究方式，透過紮根理論建構手術預後相關之心理社會因素；爾後以既有之臺灣心理社會因素為基礎，納入術前心理篩檢模式提出相關的醫療及認知等相關變項，並透過結構方程模式分析變項間之因果關聯性，進而建構適用於台灣社群文化之術前心理篩檢模式。
