Experimental & Development Section
The Experimental & Development section has six faculty members:

  • Professor Jie‑Li Tsai focuses on Chinese reading eye‑movement patterns and lexical processing. She teaches courses in experimental psychology methods, eye‑tracking paradigms, and psycholinguistics.

  • Professor Lee-Xieng Yang researches category learning and big‑data analysis. He teaches psychological and educational statistics, experimental design, neural networks, and cognitive modeling.

  • Professor Chi‑Tai Huang studies infants’ social learning and the development of social cognition. He teaches courses in developmental psychology and cognitive development.

  • Professor Ting‑Ting Chang specializes in educational neuroscience, currently investigating the cognitive processes and neural mechanisms behind math learning. She offers courses in cognitive neuroscience and fMRI applications.

  • Professor Hsiu‑Ting Yu researches multilevel latent class models and their applications in specific research contexts. She teaches psychological testing and practicum, psychometric and educational statistics, and topics in psychometrics.

  • Professor Po‑Hsien Huang focuses on psychometrics and machine learning, teaching machine learning and its applications in behavioral sciences, as well as structural equation modeling.

Clinical Section
The Clinical section has four faculty members:

  • Professor Chien‑Ming Yang integrates clinical psychology and cognitive neuroscience to study basic mechanisms of sleep, sleep disorders, and non‑pharmacological insomnia treatments. He teaches psychological assessment and therapy.

  • Professor Chung‑Hsin Chiang investigates autism, focusing on developmental psychopathology, early screening, and early intervention. He teaches introductory clinical psychology and child & adolescent abnormal behavior.

  • Professor Chih‑Hsun Wu centers on health psychology in aging, examining correlations between attitudes toward aging and health variables. He teaches clinical psychology and counseling theories & techniques.

  • Professor Chi‑Cheng Yang researches neurobehavioral abnormalities in neurosurgical patients and promotes integrated community mental health care. He teaches clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology.

Social & Personality Section
This section includes two faculty members:

  • Professor Chien‑Ru Sun studies self‑constructs, self‑evaluation, and regulation among Chinese populations, as well as interpersonal processes such as social exclusion, emphasizing indigenous psychology. She teaches social psychology, personality psychology, and cultural/indigenous psychology.

  • Professor Ting‑Tat Ng specializes in social psychology topics including social dilemmas, cooperation, morality, religion, and spirituality. He teaches interpersonal relationships, judgment, and decision‑making.

Industrial & Organizational Psychology Section
There are two faculty members here:

  • Professor Chien‑Chih Kuo researches informal communication within organizations, exploring workplace gossip’s effects on employee behavior and attitudes, workplace mental health, and workplace ostracism. He teaches personnel psychology, consumer psychology, and occupational health psychology.

  • Professor Tzu‑Ting Lin focuses on Chinese organizational culture and leadership, studying how team members' perceptions of time diversity affect team processes, effectiveness, and how leaders’ time perspectives influence team outcomes. She teaches introductory industrial‐organizational psychology, leadership psychology topics, and organizational behavior topics.
